Seattle’s Best Coffee – Review

There’s nothing more comforting than a warm cup of coffee with the wafting aroma of roasted beans and cinnamon in the air. The award-winning Seattle’s Best Coffee is a place that offers the ultimate escape for this ravenous coffee fixation. Launched in 1968 in the city synonymous with the urban culture; Seattle’s best coffee offers the same panache to its coffee; bold yet smooth with soft mellow flavors.
On a voyage to experience the true essence of the Coffee Shop, we headed to Seattle’s Best Coffee at the Festival City Dubai to try out their newly launched gourmet menu of delectable fares and of course the coffee itself. Ideally located between Carrefour and Ikea, Seattle’s Best Coffee brags a position that is unmissable and unavoidably marks its presence with the ever inviting aroma of the coffee and Cinnabon on the massive retail floor. A regional tie-up with Cinnabon outlets in UAE, the Seattle’s Best Coffee shop offers some of the best cafe style dining options to the customers. Whether in for a quick cup of coffee, or a light snack or meal, it provides an amazing space to those looking for a place to hang out with friends, family, colleagues or even for casual business meetings. The unpretentious air is instantly connecting and the cafe style decor makes it more inviting and relaxing.
The dining area displays a number of prints highlighting an urban modern artsy feel, in a warm, inviting atmosphere for the perfect specialty coffee experience. The place had a cozy and groovy vibe which was very inviting to the tired shoppers.
Although essentially a café we still ordered our meal in courses. To start unraveling the taste we ordered the Marvelous Crab Salad and the Tempting Tomato Bulgur. The crab salad came in a takeaway box with greens (including iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, and baby asparagus) and pink strands of julienned crab meat sitting on top along with a side of cocktail sauce. The salad tasted delicious with the sauce which added a hint nutty flavor to the salad. The tomato bulgur was simply delectable, served cold it comes with a side of yogurt sauce. The bulgur with tomatoes was a delightful addition to the menu for it was utterly delicious and above everything, it is a healthy option for anyone looking for a quick and easy snack. It gets our recommendation for anyone who wants to eat something filling yet healthy and low in calories count.
From the sandwiches section, we ordered the Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich and Cheesy Chicken Sandwich. Both the sandwiches were prepared as Panini using baguette. The bread was chewy and tasted great with the filling. The BBQ chicken added a soft filling to the toasted baguette, along with the side of coleslaw and homemade spicy chips. The Cheesy Chicken had a strong flavor too as the protein was marinated in soy sauce. The sandwich is great for cheese lovers and for those who dig Asian flavors.
And since a trip to Seattle’s Best Coffee isn’t complete without a cup of their gourmet coffee or the signature cold drinks, so we ordered Macchiato (an aromatic blend of coffee, with a dash of frothy steamed milk) and Javakula (an insanely refreshing cold creamy caramel drink). The coffee without a doubt was one of the best coffees we have had. It was excitingly bold yet left a tingling mellow flavor that dwindled on the senses for long. It is easily something you yearn for the day in and day out. As for the Javakula, it was a delicious blend of coffee and caramel, a cold nexus of flavors with desirable sensation.
We couldn’t have left without a bite of the ultimate cinnamon bun the mighty classic ‘Cinnabon’! Just out of the oven, tender swirly chocolates and cinnamon infused bun, oozing with the cream cheese topping, is one of the greatest joy on earth! A cup of Seattle’s Best Coffee with a bite of the decadent treat is a trip to heaven and back.
All in all the Seattle’s Best Coffee experience was filled with unexpected and refreshing surprises that you may not find in other casual coffee shops. The food on the menu offered an eclectic mix of fares, combined with the range of hot and soft drinks with the ultimate bounty of the addictive Cinnabon.
