OSN ends 2017 Celebrating Global Icon Mickey Mouse, with The Launch of a Dedicated Pop-Up Channel
Bringing together generations more than any other animated character, Mickey Mouse is a beloved global icon. OSN and The Walt Disney Company Middle East are ending 2017 celebrating the world’s most loved mouse with a two-week dedicated channel, launched on Thursday 14th December and running up to and including New Year’s Eve 31st December.
Since appearing in the animated short film, Steamboat Willy in 1928, Mickey Mouse has appeared in over 120 theatrically-released shorts and featurettes. OSN’s Mickey Mouse pop-up channel will provide subscribers across the MENA region with a unique opportunity to enjoy two weeks of non-stop Mickey Mouse shows and movies.
These include five seasons of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse series (including 17 special episodes), 17 episodes of Mickey and the Roadster Racers series, and a host of movies including Fantasia 2000, Mickey, Donald, Goofy: The Three Musketeers and festive favourites Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas, Mickey’s Twice Upon a Christmas and Mickey’s Magical Christmas. Complementing the series and movies are a variety of animated shorts including Disney’s Mickey Mouse Shorts, Have A Laugh, Mickey’s Mousekersize and Minnie’s BowToons – and live action shorts Minnie & You and Minnie’s Fashion Challenge.
The channel follows on from previous successful pop-up channels OSN has launched with Disney this year, including Marvel, Disney Princess and Star Wars.
