Simple homemade chicken curry with straw potatoes

Red chili 8nos
Cinnamon 2 sticks
Ginger garlic paste 50gms
Tomato paste 200gms
Garam Masala Powder 1tbsp
Salt to taste
Peel and slice the onions.
Put the Chiles, cinnamon, coriander, cumin seeds and cloves into a spice grinder and grind fine.
Marinate the chicken with ginger garlic paste, salt and the above paste.
In a deep pan heat oil, fry the onions till golden brown, add ginger garlic paste the the other paste mixture.
After cooking the paste for a minute or two add the chicken and saute it for 5-7 mins.
Now add the tomato paste and salt.
Bring to a boil and reduce and simmer for 15 mins on slow flame.
Cut the potato in sticks and soak it in salty water. Fry in hot oil until it gets the golden colour.
Serve in a dish with potato straws garnished on top.
