Pottery Barn Kids Healthy Eating Event
As part of their “Back to School” launch, Pottery Barn Kids, known for its stylish and child-friendly furniture and accessories, hosted a healthy eating event at their store in Dubai Mall, to educate families on innovative ways to encourage their kids to eat healthy.
The event was hosted by child-culinary expert and social media influencer, Jana Al Ghunaim, who utilizes creativity to design child-friendly looking meals using popular cartoon characters and appealing colors, thereby encouraging them to adopt healthier eating habits.
Pottery Barn Kids Operations Manager, Joshua Placer said: “We are pleased to host this event while collaborating with local talents as it comes in line with the brand’s objective in recognizing and supporting talented individuals, both globally and in the local market. As a brand that prides itself with being child-friendly, it is part of our mission to develop our customers understanding of their children’s needs within different age groups. We hope this is a starting point that will pave the way to hosting other future initiatives that cater to our customer’s expectations.”
Social Media Influencer, Jana Al Ghunaim said: “Going back to school can sometimes be stressful for both kids and their parents. One of my favorite ways to reduce this stress is by packing fun and healthy foods for kids to take with them to school using creative cartoon designs. This will not only encourage them to eat healthy but will also put a smile on their faces. I truly enjoyed showing other parents how they can also pack healthy, simple and fun-looking school lunches for their kids at the Pottery Barn Kids healthy eating workshop.”
The event coincided with Pottery Barn Kids’ annual “Back to School” collection, which features the latest school supplies and accessories with contemporary and fashionable designs including long lasting backpacks in creative designs, reusable lunch bags, fun lunch boxes and water bottles that come in an assortment of styles that keeps food and fluids fresh and encourages your little ones to eat healthy. The new collection is available now at the Pottery Barn Kids store at Dubai Mall and City Centre in Dubai, and Dalma Mall and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.
