Easy RAMADAN RECIPES

And finally, Ramadan 2018 is here and we are assuming that you must have filled your refrigerator and freezers with iftar and Suhour meals. But there are a few things that are still made fresh from the scratch. So, La Ville Hotel & Suites City Walk Dubai has shared three basic healthy and easy to make from the scratch Ramadan Recipies with us for you to try this Ramadan!
Baba Ghanoush
Serves 4
Ingredients:
Grilled Eggplant: 500 gr
Tomato: 40 gr
Red Onion: 40 gr
Bell Pepper: 40 gr
Garlic: 2 tsp
Parsley & Mint: 2 tbsp
Lemon Juice: 20 ml
Pomegranate Seeds: 10 gr
Pomegranate Molasses: 20 ml
Olive oil
Salt
Method:
- Roast the eggplant in a pan until it is soft
- Remove the skin from the eggplant and chop it finely
- Chop tomato, red onion, bell pepper, garlic, mint, and parsley
- Mix it with the eggplant
- Season with lemon juice and salt
- Garnish with pomegranate seeds, mint leaf, and pomegranate molasses
- Serve cold as shown in the picture
Muhammara
Serves 4
Ingredients:
Tomato: 100 gr
Onion: 100 gr
Garlic: 25 gr
Cumin Powder: 10 gr
Red Bell Pepper: 100 gr
Chili Paste: 2 tsp
Bread Crumbs: 100 gr
Crushed Nuts: 100 gr
Tomato Paste: 2 tbsp
Olive Oil: 200 ml
Pomegranate Molasses: 40 ml
Berries: for garnish
Lavash Bread: for garnish
Method:
- Roast bell peppers, onion, garlic, fresh tomato
- Add tomato paste, cumin powder, and chili paste
- Mix the rest of the ingredients in a blender
- Once the mixture is ready add breadcrumbs, pomegranate molasses & olive oil
- In the end, add berries and lavash bread as decoration
Lahem Bil Ajeen (Pide)
Serves 4
Ingredients:
Minced lamb: 400 gr
Onion: 100 gr
Parsley: 40 gr
Pine nuts: 10 gr
Cherry tomato: 4 pieces
Pomegranate Molasses: 20 ml
Flour: 600 gr
Yeast: 10 gr
Milk: 100 ml
Water: 100 ml
Salt: 10 gr
Sugar: 10 gr
Method:
- For the dough, mix flour, yeast, water, milk, salt, and sugar together and knead it, until it is combined
- Leave the dough to rest for 1 hour
- Shape the dough as in the picture
- Roast the minced lamb meat with onion, cherry tomato, pine nuts and parsley until it is cooked
- Stuff the formed dough with your lamb mix
- Bake the Lahem Bil Ajeen at 180 degrees for around 20 minutes in the oven
- Garnish with cherry tomatoes
