Breathing for Relaxation Tips
- Exhale all the air from your lungs until there’s no more air left. You will notice that by exhaling completely you will automatically be able to inhale more air.
- Slowly inhale through the nose while counting up to 4.
- Then, hold your breath for a count of eight.
- If you are a complete beginner, don’t hold your breath or hold your breath for a shorter period of time and gradually build up to an 8-count.
