Brazilian Beauty Brand O Boticário Opens Third Amphora Concept Store in Dubai at City Centre Deira
Following the success of its first two UAE stores, at Dubai Mall and City Centre Mirdif, Brazilian beauty giant O Boticário, together with its regional licensing partner Millennial Capital, has opened its third international Amphora concept store at City Centre Deira, Dubai. The brand-new store, which opened on 0th December, comes as O Boticário continues to rapidly expand its UAE market share, with exclusive products and retail technology that redefine the beauty experience for consumers.
Founded in 1977, O Boticário is the largest fragrance player in Brazil. Globally, it has more than 4,000 stores and, outside of Brazil, operates in 15 international countries. It is also the largest cosmetic franchise in the world and an estimated US $4 billion in revenue.
The O Boticário product lines consist of approximately 1,200 items, but the latest Dubai store, like the other two stores in the city, will offer customers the 480 best-selling products, including body care, facial care, makeup, fragrances, deodorants, soaps, and shampoos. All of O Boticário’s products are created as a result of the alchemy of unique and exotic ingredients, such as quinoa grains and lily extracts. The brand does no animal testing and invests 1% of revenues in forest conservation.
The Amphora store model features sustainability at its core, designed to generate less waste and efficiently minimize operational work on campaign renewal. Additionally, the recently opened retail outlet will launch ‘Ecobags’, created from recycled materials and modular furniture, requiring less construction work. All the wood used is FSC certified and the lighting is 100% LED. Moreover, the store is designed with less acrylic and optimizes the need for steel, aluminum and MDF sheets.
