Beefbar Dubai Review – For the meat connoisseurs!
Hip, eclectic and modern the Beefbar Dubai is the avatar of its original branch in Monte Carlo. The recently opened restaurant is one of a kind in Dubai offering an exquisite culinary experience that promises palatable insight into meat exclusively for the meat connoisseurs and foodies alike. What distinguishes it is its bold approach towards the carefully curated menu that brings the culinary finesse on the plate, with the best quality ingredients not offered anywhere else in town.
Of late the vegan movement has manifested itself in a multitude of businesses spun mostly around restaurants and cafes. Whether a fad or a real health concern, vegan is pretty substantial lifestyle choice we see all around us. On the flip side, interestingly the absolute contender of the plant-based diet, there’s are places dedicated to the devotees of meat. Many of the restaurants focusing on the protein are a subsequent part of a butchery displaying and selling meat in a perfect meat shop style, as well as niche restaurants knowns for their expertise in the industry. Although these shops are in direct contrast to the vegan idea that broods over conservation, what is good to know is that some of the industry giants have come a long way to nurture their produce by highly ethical and moral meat producing practices, it significantly includes the Australian and of course the Japanese meat. To vouch for it, the quality, flavor and ultimately the taste speaks for itself…
Beefbar Dubai specializes in meats from all around the globe, whether it’s the rouge Aussie Black market Angus or the tender Japanese 8+ grade Tajima District Kobe meat, the restaurant has it all. But unlike a regular steakhouse, Beefbar supersedes the concept of steak and takes it to a higher level, where it’s all about ascertaining and understanding the delicacy of flavors and creating your own taste.
Located at the heart of DIFC, at Al Fattan Currency house, the Beefbar Dubai is a casual diner that is set to dazzle a crowd of young and elegant in Dubai. Not a typical steakhouse that offers a variety of cuts, but the Beefbar guarantees a well-orchestrated meaty experience that revolves around different cuisines from around the world. A brainchild of the Italian businessman Flavio Briatore, the restaurant promises to deliver the same finesse and quality as the first Beefbar at Monte Carlo is famed for. With vibrant retro décor accentuated with elements of wood and green, casual and comfortable seating arrangement, Beefbar has a very crisp ambiance, supported by the Beefbar Radio and a resident DJ.
The menu is not as complicated as the variety of flavors. The three-part menu starts with starters, focuses on the meaty mains and ends with sides. The choices for meat besides the beef are umpteen, including lamb, and veal. On a trip to review the restaurant, we tried a spread of different types of offers from the restaurant.
For starters, we had a lineup of delicious grub from the ongoing promotion ‘Taste of Kobe’ which included Kobe sliders, Quesadilla de la casa Kobe and Angus quesadilla, Tostado De Mikazuki Kobe beef crispy tacos, Kobe meat Gyoza, and Kobe shawarma. Having watched numerous documentaries on the art of marbling and reading raving reviews about how delicious the Kobe meat it, it was almost instinctive for me to try the meat alone. So I picked up a beef chunk from the taco and tried it without the condiments. The beef bite oozed with juice that occurred naturally due to marbling, it was a pure joy in the mouth. We loved the Kobe sliders for the simple fact that it set the bar for how a beef patty should taste like and the Kobe Gyoza, once again for flavorsome mouth fullness that preceded after the first bite.
For the main course, we tried Black market Angus Fillet mignon and the classic ribeye. What was interesting to notice was the preparation of the meat, for it came without any overpowering flavors, retaining the quintessential taste of the meat, that is downright tender, juicy and simply delicious. Our main came with the sides of sweet corn with parmesan and three different types of mash our favorite was crispy beef and fried garlic mash.
Last but never the least was the dessert. After all the meaty experience I wasn’t expecting any inkling for sweet but what came eventually was one of the best I have had! French toast with Ice-cream! It might not sound too inviting after a hearty meal but trust me, you should order it as the starter to relish completely.
With a seamless balance of food, ambiance, and service, Beefbar Dubai offers an inimitably special experience that is pure in essence and outstanding in actuality. Beefbar also has its own butcher shop inside, with experts on hand to advise on the best cuts to take home.
